More than 300 participants ran or walked at our inaugural Cherry Blossom 5K Run and Walk, held at Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, on April 26. Proceeds of nearly $60,000 will benefit the Patient Assistance Fund at Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson in New Jersey, expanding access to advanced cancer care close to home in Cherry Hill and Washington Township. A meaningful transformation, brought to life 🎨

Recently, Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital celebrated the unveiling of a stunning, student-created mural in a third-floor waiting room. Designed and completed by talented art students from Cherry Hill High School West, the 50-foot installation wraps around three walls—turning the space into an immersive experience inspired by the seasons of New Jersey and Philadelphia.

Using a mix of acrylic paint, glass mosaics, ceramic tile, and photography, the students created a vibrant piece that truly “brings the outside in”—an idea sparked by nurse manager Rory Levinson to make the windowless space more comforting for patients and visitors.

A group of nurses from our Washington Township Hospital Emergency Department recently earned first place at the New Jersey Emergency Nurses Association's 47th Annual Emergency Care Conference in Atlantic City for a project aimed at improving care for patients with congestive heart failure. Their work introduced a visual cue that enhanced how care teams track patient weight and fluid balance, supporting timely, informed care decisions.
