This winter's extreme cold made warm clothing more essential than ever — and Jefferson colleages rose to the occasion, collecting more than 400 coats through our Annual Coat Drive. Since 2014, staff have donated over 3,200 coats, helping neighbors across the community stay warm during the coldest months of the year. This year, the drive was held in partnership with Oaks Integrated Care to distribute coats to individuals and families in need. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this important effort.

Our newest “helpers” have officially been named! Thanks to colleagues who joined our naming contest, our two new autonomous floor scrubbers now have personalities to match their purpose. Meet Rosey (Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital) and Evie S. (Jefferson Washington Township Hospital). They’ll clean high-traffic public areas like lobbies and hallways to support infection prevention — while giving our Environmental Services (EVS) teams more time for the hands-on work that benefits most from a human touch.

Congratulations to our fourth-quarter “We Rise by Lifting Others” Award recipients! 🥳

Patient Flow Coordinator Deena Glenn, of Jefferson Stratford Hospital, was recognized for ensuring patients entering our New Vision™ drug and alcohol medical withdrawal services program are admitted quickly, safely and compassionately during their most vulnerable moments.

Patient Advocate Stacey Irving-Lewis, of Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, was honored for her exceptional advocacy, helping families navigate complex care needs with empathy and respect.

Family Medicine Physician Julie Magallanes-Montone, DO, of Marlton Primary & Specialty Care and West Berlin Specialty Care, was celebrated for her compassionate bedside manner, collaborative leadership and role in building a multidisciplinary weight management program that supports whole-person wellness.

Food Service Associate Tatyana Rakita, of Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, was acknowledged for her kindness and attentiveness after noticing a patient alone and hungry, turning a difficult wait into a moment of comfort and care.

Thank you to these four outstanding team members for lifting others with compassion.

🎉 A meaningful milestone at Jefferson Stratford Hospital.

Since opening in May 2019, the New Vision Withdrawal Management service has now supported 2,000 patients on their journey toward recovery. This milestone reflects the compassion, expertise, and dedication of our care teams—and underscores the vital role this service plays in our Stratford community.

We’re excited to celebrate the opening of Jefferson Urology – Cherry Hill! 🎉

We recently held an open house at our newest urology practice, marking an important step in expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered urologic care close to home. Designed to complement services at our Cherry Hill Hospital Medical Office Building and our Fish Pond Road practice in Washington Township, the new location features six exam rooms and a dedicated procedure room to support seamless, coordinated care.
