PMSing is not normal.
A lot of the symptoms that women experience during their cycle have been summed up as being normal. But let's get something straight, pain is NEVER normal.
Many have become so accustomed to menstrual pain that I hear "it just runs in my family" more often than not.
First, we have to understand that pain is our body's way of communicating to us and when there is pain, we have to become aware of what we may be doing to cause our body to react that way.
Second, there isn't a one-size-fits-all when it comes to women's menstrual cycle. The pill may put a bandaid on the symptoms but the underline problem is still there.
Lastly, what I love about Chinese Medicine is that it give you the tools to find the underline condition, which can be different for everyone, and the modalities to treat the condition e.i. Acupuncture, Herbs, and Moxa.
It's time for you to get out of pain and take control of your body!
