The spirit of Halloween was alive (and splashing!) in today’s Pumpkin Aqua Intervals class! 🎃💦

Led by Fitness Specialist Janet Goodman, participants got into the spooky spirit—adding pumpkins for extra intensity and resistance. They also added in some partner exercises pushing the pumpkins under the water to each other.

A gourd time was had by all! 🎃

Seniors cheering on the seniors! 🐯📣 This past weekend, residents from showed their Tiger pride at the game—cheering on the senior players during their senior day match!

A few weeks earlier, those same LSU athletes visited the senior living community to volunteer their time and connect with residents. To return the favor, our older adults came out decked in purple and gold to cheer them on! 💜💛

It was a heartwarming full-circle moment filled with smiles, spirit, and community connection! Huge shout-out to for bringing this special celebration to life! 😊

A Halloween twist on medication management! 🍬💊 Using different shapes, sizes, and textures of candy to simulate pills, we worked on dexterity, pinch strength, sequencing, attention, and problem-solving — all essential for safe and independent medication management! 👻

We even leveled it up by standing at the counter to target balance and standing tolerance for real-life ADL/IADL carryover. 💪

OT can be fun and functional — no tricks, just therapeutic treats! 🎃✨

Today we recognize World Polio Day and celebrate incredible stories of perseverance like Ed’s—a polio survivor who refused to let anything stand in his way! 💪

After losing his right lower extremity to infection over a year ago, Ed was determined to improve his walking abilities and distance with his prosthesis.

With support from FOX Wellness services and the expert guidance of Brendan Black, PT, DPT, GCS, Ed improved his 6-minute walk test from 66 meters to 105 meters—a remarkable gain in his strength, stamina, and confidence! 🙌
