Frozen Shoulder Progress β€” Just 2 Sessions In!

This client came in with frozen shoulder, experiencing limited mobility, stiffness, and chronic discomfort.

The focus of our sessions was on releasing the muscles surrounding the shoulder joint including the trapezius, rhomboids, deltoids, and rotator cuff muscles. These areas often become tight and overworked as the body compensates for the lack of movement in the shoulder.

In the first image, you can see the signs of muscle tightness and asymmetry, especially around the shoulder blades. By the second session, the muscles have clearly softened and rebalanced.

Healthy Chickpea & Date energy bars 🀀🀀

Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240g) canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup (150g) pitted dates
- 1/2 cup (125g) almond butter (or peanut butter)
- 1/2 cup (50g) rolled oats
- 1/4 cup (60ml) honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup (30g) chopped almonds or walnuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup (40g) dark chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
1. In a food processor, blend chickpeas and dates until a thick paste forms.
2. Add almond butter, oats, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until well combined.
3. Stir in chopped nuts and chocolate chips if using.
4. Line a baking dish (8x8 inches / 20x20 cm) with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the dish.
5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
6. Cut into bars or bite-sized pieces and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
