When more teachers are TRAINED IN ADAPTIVE YOGA, ACCESSIBILITY EXPANDS beyond just the class itself — it means more studio locations, more schedule options, and more teaching styles to choose from. After all, if the only class is far away or at a time that doesn’t work, that’s a real barrier to access.

At Samadhi Yoga Sangha, we offer two WEEKLY ADAPTIVE YOGA CLASSES as well as ADAPTIVE TEACHER EDUCATION to continue to expand accessible yoga. Join us and help us spread the word!

We are so excited to finally share our brand new All Abilities Yoga Card Decks! 🎉

These cards were created in collaboration with Special Olympics Colorado and in the deck you will see some familiar faces as we worked alongside with GBH Students and Special Olympics Colorado’s Athletes. These cards wouldn’t have been complete without them willingly sharing their love for yoga.

We have been working so hard on creating these since the beginning of the year and we are so grateful for everyone that has supported us through this journey and also put in countless hours of hard work to help make this happen!

Also a huge shoutout and thanks to the very talented Noelle Williams Photography for taking her time to take all the pictures of our students and athletes and working with us to make our visions come true!

This deck was designed to guide you through mindfulness activities and movements just like the ones we do together in class at Guided By Humanity. Inside you will find a sections that walk you through Reflections, Mindfulness, Breathing, Seated Warm Up Poses, Yoga Poses, and Guided Meditations.

I just found out about the free concert series at Levitt Pavilion this summer... There is a festival in August specifically geared towards being accessible. Check it out!

"The first of its kind, radically accessible music event is coming to Denver, Colorado on August 8, 2021. Shine Music Festival, a 1-day music event, will be held at Levitt Pavilion from 1:00-7:30pm (Doors open at 12:00pm). This festival will combine the staples of a music festival with adaptive technology and a comprehensive accessibility plan - resulting in creating an inclusive space where people of all abilities can collectively enjoy a day filled with music, food, art, and fun."
