🎄✨ Christmas Celebration Memories at Chesaning Comfort Care ✨🎄 We are still smiling from the joy and warmth of our Christmas celebration! ❤️
Our residents had such a wonderful time visiting with Santa, sharing laughs, taking photos, and soaking in the holiday spirit together. 🎅🎁
A very special THANK YOU to Brieauna Monae photography 📸 for donating their time freely and beautifully capturing these memories for our residents and families — AND for developing the photos as well. Your kindness and generosity truly meant the world to us and helped make this day extra meaningful.
We also want to extend a huge thank you to Wheelock – The One Man Social Distance Band 🎶 for providing fantastic live entertainment and bringing such cheerful energy to our celebration. The music added so much fun to our day and made it feel like a true holiday party!

Chesaning Comfort Care Senior Living is looking for a friendly, patient, and dependable Nail Technician to provide nail care services to our residents.

🗓️ Schedule: Flexible
Preferred: 1 day per week
*(open to twice per month)

💵 Payment: Nail services are salon-style setup. Services would be paid directly by the person responsible for residents care/finances.

✅ This is a great opportunity to build a steady client base in a comfortable setting.

✨ Please Join Us in Welcoming Our New Operations Manager! ✨
We are excited to Welcome ROMAN as the new Operations Manager at Chesaning Comfort Care. Roman brings strong leadership, organization, and a genuine commitment to teamwork, along with a deep appreciation for compassionate, resident-centered care.
In his role, Roman will work closely with our leadership team and staff to support daily operations, encourage clear communication, and help foster a positive, well-supported environment for both residents and team members. His collaborative approach and dedication to excellence will help strengthen the foundation of care we provide every day.
Roman joins an experienced and passionate leadership team,
Darleen Bott, Administrator;
Lexy Bouza, Resident Care Director; and Lisa Handyside, Activities Director. Together, this team is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and welcoming community where residents feel valued, supported, and truly at home.
We are grateful to have Roman join the Chesaning Comfort Care family and look forward to the positive impact his leadership will bring.

🎈A Countdown With Purpose 🎈
Today, our New Year’s Eve celebration was about more than welcoming a new year—it was about engagement, joy, and meaningful connection.
At 3:30 PM, our residents gathered for a special countdown, ending with a joyful balloon drop. As the balloons fell, laughter filled the room, smiles lit up faces, and hands reached out—encouraging movement, interaction, and pure delight in the moment.
This activity was intentionally designed to support physical movement, cognitive engagement, and emotional well-being, while creating a shared experience everyone could enjoy together. The excitement of the countdown and the surprise of the balloon drop brought energy, anticipation, and a sense of celebration to all.
Moments like these remind us that activities are not just events—they are opportunities to create purpose, connection, and joy.

✨ New Year’s Eve Memories to Treasure ✨
We rang in the New Year a little early—and it was absolutely perfect. 💫
Our residents enjoyed a New Year’s Eve countdown at 3:30 PM, complete with a festive balloon party filled with laughter and smiles.
The celebration also included a fun catch-and-throw ball activity with music. When the music stopped, whoever caught the ball shared a funny face, answered a New Year’s question they remembered, or reflected on their favorite memory from the past year. These moments sparked joy, conversation, and wonderful connections among everyone involved.
It’s not about the time on the clock—it’s about the meaningful moments we share together. Creating engaging, joyful experiences for our residents is what makes these celebrations so special.
Here’s to a New Year filled with laughter, connection, and many more memories to cherish. 🎈🥂

The New Standard of Senior Living

Chesaning Comfort Care is located in the southwest corner of Saginaw County and is one of the counties BEST kept secrets. We are located in the quaint, historic village of Chesaning, and we are providing the New Standard of Living for our senior population. We are designed to provide living and care for either you or your loved one as the needs increase for more daily activities and care. We are staffed 24 hours a day to meet your needs. We have rooms that are very spacious and provide and promote ideal living that helps each individual remain as independent as possible while still providing for their needs.

Some of the amenities that are provided daily are: med passing, meals, snacks, exercise, crafts, outdoor activities, gardening, movie theater, hair salon, laughter and lots of love. We do all your housework and laundry, so that you can enjoy your time as you age gracefully in place. We have an amazing spa room that helps with your aches and pains, and lets you relax in the comfort of privacy and assistance.

We love to have activities that involve the community and have people come in and share their talents and gifts with others. We have music, family get togethers, birthday celebrations, along with recognizing our veterans who have served our country.
