A Mother’s Day Celebration ✨️Celebrating Mom~ Meaningful Moments & Lovely Memories✨️

Join us for a cozy and elegant afternoon designed to create lasting memories together. Families, residents, staff, and loved ones are all warmly invited to attend this special Tea & Wild Bouquet Workshop.
Guests will create a beautiful floral arrangement in a teacup of their choice — a keepsake to take home and cherish. This interactive workshop will be guided by Leslie, owner of , with all materials included.
📸 We are also excited to offer special photo opportunities provided by by Liz Anne to help capture these meaningful moments.
Light refreshments will be served including tea, croissants, fruit, and more.

Congratulations to Samantha Memmer, our Employee of the Month! Samantha has been part of the Chesaning Comfort Care team for six months as a dedicated MedTech Caregiver.
When asked what she loves most about her job, Samantha shared, “My residents.” She brings kindness, compassion, and a warm heart to those she cares for each day.
Samantha is known for being dependable, flexible, and a strong team player. She chose this line of work because it brings her joy to serve our senior population and help create happiness in their golden years.

🌷🐣 Happy Easter from Chesaning Comfort Care 🐣🌷
Yesterday was truly a day filled with joy, love, and community spirit here at —and My heart is so full reflecting on it all 💛
We were blessed to provide every resident with an Easter basket, and seeing their smiles 😃 was simply priceless.
This would not have been possible without the Incredible Support of Our 🌏🫶 Community. Because of your generous donations, we were able to make this special moment happen for each and every resident—and we are so truly grateful ❤️
Our Easter Egg Hunt was a wonderful success! A Special Thank You to Lexi , who helped fill many of the eggs ahead of time. Then, the morning of the event, Nicole, Tasha, Myself, our April Resident of the Month Rhonda, and fellow resident Lynn all came together to finish filling even more. This kind of teamwork is what makes moments like these so special ✨🤝
To add a little extra Easter magic, staff and residents alike received Easter bunny ears to wear, bringing smiles and a fun, festive spirit throughout our home 🐰💛
A very Special Thank You to Rose, one of our residents, and her family for the beautiful gift of 🪴 plants that now brighten our home and bring such a fresh, springtime feel indoors 🌼🌿
We were also honored to have "Rod" join us for entertainment—his music brought so much joy! The applause said it all, and our residents are already asking when he can come back 🎶👏
From the delicious appetizers to the laughter, conversations, and connection, the entire day was filled with such warmth. It meant so much to see so many families and children join us—bringing smiles, memories, and moments our residents will cherish 🥰
We were also glad that Kelly stopped by, from Amara Hospice, and to AdvisaCare Hospice for their generous Easter basket donation. Your support means more than words can say.
We appreciate your support to our community and the beautiful job you do with the residents in your care.
With over 100 people in attendance, this was more than just an event—it was a True Celebration🎉 of what makes our community so special:🫶

🌟 Resident of the Month – April 🌟
🎉 Let’s give a heartfelt round of applause to our wonderful resident… Rhonda Richardson! 🎉

Rhonda has been part of our community for the past 6 months, and in that time, she has truly made a lasting impact on everyone around her. From the friendships she’s built to the kindness she shares so freely, Rhonda helps make our community feel like home 💛
She is the proud owner of her beloved cockatoo, Louie, who brings an extra touch of joy to her days 🐦 Her creative spirit shines through her love for sewing, weaving, and all kinds of crafting—she’s always finding new ways to create, share, and inspire. (And if you know Rhonda… you know her favorite color is ❤️ red ❤️!)
When asked why she chose to live here, Rhonda shared something that truly touched our hearts:
“My children grew up here, and it has a hometown feel.” 🏡
When we asked what she loves most about living here, she said:
✨ “The community spirit, the activities, and the friends I’ve made.”
Rhonda was chosen as our Resident of the Month because of the incredible person she is. She is kind, flexible, and always willing to lend a helping hand—especially to neighbors who may need a little extra guidance. She lifts others up, never looks down, and always strives to make those around her feel valued and supported 💕
She generously shares her hobbies, her knowledge, and even her personal items, always thinking of others. Rhonda also encourages participation and brings such positive energy to our activities—it’s contagious in the best way 😊
When we spoke with a few of her fellow residents, their words said it all:
💬 Lin shared: “I love her smile—it makes me feel happy when I’m with her.”
💬 Carolyn said: “She is very helpful to me and to others, and she’s just full of ideas.”
💬 Mary Ann added: “I love when we have our evening hall parties—she makes me giggle!”

It’s been such a joyful and meaningful week here at Comfort Care! 🌸
We kicked things off with a special Easter Bingo, where our lucky winners received beautiful Easter baskets filled with sweet treats and surprises 🐣🎁—there were so many smiles around the room!
We also stayed active with Workout with Abigail, helping everyone stretch, loosen up, and feel their best 💪✨
A very special thank you to Chaplain Wayne, who joined us for a heartfelt Easter service on Thursday and blessed us with beautiful piano music 🎹💛 We are truly honored to have him—such a wonderful gentleman.
Of course, we couldn’t forget the fun! We celebrated National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day, trying new flavors and different types of peanut butter (with a little Easter bread twist!) 🥜🍞—it was a big hit!
Today, we take time to prepare our hearts for Easter, reflecting, connecting, and embracing the meaning of this beautiful season ✝️🌿
More fun to come as we continue our Easter Week celebration!

The New Standard of Senior Living

Chesaning Comfort Care is located in the southwest corner of Saginaw County and is one of the counties BEST kept secrets. We are located in the quaint, historic village of Chesaning, and we are providing the New Standard of Living for our senior population. We are designed to provide living and care for either you or your loved one as the needs increase for more daily activities and care. We are staffed 24 hours a day to meet your needs. We have rooms that are very spacious and provide and promote ideal living that helps each individual remain as independent as possible while still providing for their needs.

Some of the amenities that are provided daily are: med passing, meals, snacks, exercise, crafts, outdoor activities, gardening, movie theater, hair salon, laughter and lots of love. We do all your housework and laundry, so that you can enjoy your time as you age gracefully in place. We have an amazing spa room that helps with your aches and pains, and lets you relax in the comfort of privacy and assistance.

We love to have activities that involve the community and have people come in and share their talents and gifts with others. We have music, family get togethers, birthday celebrations, along with recognizing our veterans who have served our country.
