Here's a sneak peek from the 2nd Annual Bad River Bass Tournament!

What an incredible day filled with fishing, friendly competition, laughter, community spirit, and memories made on the water.

We are so thankful for everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, donated prizes, and helped make this event a success. Seeing our community come together once again for this growing tradition was truly something special.

🎶🎤🎂 A Beautiful ""CELEBRATION OF SOUND DAY"" at 🎂🎤🎶
Today was truly a day filled with music, laughter, friendship, and celebration as we enjoyed Celebration of Sound Day together!
Our morning began with a wonderful performance by Papa Hoot and his wife, who brought a delightful blend of music, comedy, and entertainment that had residents smiling, laughing, and singing along. Their energy and humor filled the room with joy and plenty of laughter.
In the afternoon, we gathered for our monthly Birthday Mixer, featuring entertainment by Bob Arand and a special celebration for our May birthdays:

Residents enjoyed choosing between a delicious Chocolate Deluxe Cookie Cream Cake and Pecan Pie as we celebrated another month of friendships, memories, and special moments together.
From the laughter shared during comedy routines to the music that had toes tapping and hands clapping, today was a beautiful reminder that some of life's greatest joys are found in simple moments spent together.
A heartfelt thank you to Papa Hoot and his wife and Bob Arand for sharing their talents and helping make today so memorable for our residents.
❤️ Seeing the smiles, laughter, and joy throughout the day made all the preparation worthwhile. Moments like these are why we do what we do.

Current openings!!
*Full Time 2nd shift Caregiver/Med-Tech
*Part time 1st shift Caregiver/Med-Tech with the chance to move full time in the near future
*Full Time 3rd shift caregiver with the chance to become a Med-Tech

We do all care training here and our in house nurse Lexy trains on medication administration!

Great experience for those recently graduating and pursuing the medical field 🩺 Delta college nursing students can use experience here in place of a CNA license!

Memory Care says let's get June going!!!

Our residents enjoyed spending the day outdoors soaking up the sunshine 🌞 while working on several fun and meaningful projects around our courtyard and garden areas. ❤️
Today we: 🐦 Made homemade bird feeders to help feed our little birdie friends in the courtyard
🌱 Continued working in our gardens and planting beds
🌸 Planted flowers in our flower pots
🥒 Planted some of our garden vegetables in our raised beds
🪴 Put freshly donated potting soil to wonderful use throughout our garden areas
🎨 Finished and placed our painted garden rocks from our recent Rock Painting Party around our raised garden beds near our pavilion area
🧽 Washed down the pavilion floor and outdoor tables
☀️ Enjoyed conversation, laughter, teasing, relaxation, and sunshine after cleanup

🌱💚 OUR GARDEN IS GROWING! 💚🌱

What started as a simple idea has blossomed into something truly special here at Chesaning Comfort Care. 🌼

We are excited to share that our garden club has now grown to 12 members, and thanks to the kindness of our community, we have already received many wonderful donations to help bring our garden dreams to life. 🪴☀️

As we work toward completing our garden space, we are looking for just a few final items:

🌿 8 bags of mulch
🌿 8 bags of planting soil
🌿 3 raised garden standing boxes
🌿 1 trellis for growing beans or cucumbers
