Mrs. Leslie Dawn Wendling of Chesaning, age 78, died Friday, April 10, 2026, at University of Michigan Hospital-Sparrow in Lansing. She was a resident of the Chesaning and New Lothrop areas since 1970. She was a teacher and employed by the New Lothrop Area Public Schools for 40 years, retiring in 2010. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the family to be divided between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Memorial Healthcare Cancer Center. Checks can be made payable to Mr. Dale Wendling and mailed to 202 South Front Street, Chesaning, MI 48616.
