Bernard “Bernie” Keeven of St. Charles, age 89, passed away on October 5, 2025, in Saginaw. He and his wife Ruby shared 70 years together. He retired from GM in 1984 and farming their farm in 2000. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned. Memorial contributions in Bernie's memory may be made to Chesaning Future Farmers of America.

Patricia Louise (Maurer) Malcolm of Chesaning passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age 96. Patricia and her husband, John, moved to Chesaning in 1952, when Chesaning Union High School hired John to teach history. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage and raised five children. Pat dedicated her lifetime to loving and supporting her children and their spouses, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and brothers and sisters. She was a member of and supported Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish for 74 years. She belonged to the Study Club, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and taught CCD. She often expressed gratitude for a wonderful life with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She trusted in her faith and enjoyed a glass of red wine and occasionally two. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday October 6, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 404 S. Wood St. in Chesaning.

Kris Randy C**n of Chesaning died Wednesday, September 24, 2005, at this residence. Randy was a lifelong resident of Chesaning and a 1974 graduate of Chesaning Union High School. He was employed for many years at Hehr Industries and enjoyed repairing automobile bodies, fixing and tinkering with things. No services are planned at this time.
