Holiday mealtimes can be full of joy, but for some kiddos, new foods can be a challenge. Here are some simple ways to help make the experience smoother and more enjoyable! 🥦🍽️

1️⃣ Discuss the holiday menu ahead of time to reduce mealtime surprises.
2️⃣ Let your child eat their preferred foods before the big meal.
3️⃣ Get them involved in grocery shopping and cooking—it’s fun and empowering!
4️⃣ Let them engage at their own pace, even if it's just smelling the food. 🌟

✨ Social stories can be great to prepare them for new events.
✨ Don’t forget to take breaks to support their emotional regulation.
✨ Try some wall push-ups or bring a familiar toy to help calm their body.
