We brought the joy of Oktoberfest to life this week with traditional treats, toe-tapping music, and lots of laughter! 🥨🍺🎶

Residents enjoyed warm pretzels and beer cheese, festive décor, and a whole lot of Gemütlichkeit (that’s cozy comfort and good cheer!).

At The Vero, we believe that every season is a chance to celebrate life, create memories, and feel at home—surrounded by friends, caring staff, and vibrant activities.

Today, our Bridges residents stepped through the looking glass and into a whimsical world at our Mad Hatter Tea Party!

From colorful hats to curious treats and delightful tea, it was a joyful afternoon full of laughter, connection, and a touch of wonder. Moments like these remind us that joy lives in the little things — a warm cup, a kind word, a silly hat, and the company of friends.

National Comic Book Day Superhero Celebration!

Today at The Vero at Chesapeake, we celebrated National Comic Book Day in true hero fashion—with a Superhero Photo Shoot!
From Batman to Wonder Woman, our residents (and team!) showed off their heroic spirit and had a MARVEL-ous time dressing up, striking poses, and saving the day—one smile at a time!

Comic books might be filled with fantasy, but our residents are the real heroes—living boldly, inspiring others, and spreading joy every day.

Our bellies AND hearts were full last Friday thanks to these two lovely ladies💜

Fraingeli & Leonia cooked homemade empanadas, ox tails, rice & beans, and curry chicken and raised $1500 for the Alzheimer's Association in the process. Thank you to everyone who came out to eat some delicious 🇯🇲 & 🇵🇷 cuisine while donating to a cause that is close to our hearts! 🫶

We were treated to a mind-blowing performance today by the incredible illusionist, Josh Farley!

The smiles were endless, and we could all feel the magic in the air. We’re so thankful for all the joy and enchantment he brought to our community.

What a week it's been! As we wrap up National Assisted Living Week, we ended our Camp Vero on a sweet note with s'mores by the fire and a heartwarming singalong.

Even better — our Alzheimer’s Association Fundraiser was a big success. Thank you to everyone who supported, donated, and joined us in raising awareness for such an important cause. A special huge Thank you to Fraingeli and Leonia for all your hard work and great cooking!

It’s been a week full of joy, connection, and community — and we couldn’t have done it without YOU! 💕

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave heroes who selflessly served during the tragedy of 9/11, as well as the individuals and families who endured unimaginable loss and suffering. At Sinceri Senior Living, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who showed incredible courage, and our hearts remain with all those affected by that day.
