Rena Jones is a certified phlebotomist in Norfolk, Virginia; she has been in the laboratory field since 2015. After a few years in the field and while perfecting her craft, Rena had an idea to create a Mobile Lab which today has been named VEINIFAST. Once the concept came to her, she immediately began research on how a mobile phlebotomy business could be impactful for the community and her family.

At the end of 2018, Rena started working diligently to develop her plan. Unbeknownst to her (and the rest of the Nation), we would enter into the worst Pandemic in over 100 years. This idea of mobile phlebotomy soon became a necessary reality as the community would begin to need to navigate most activities virtually or with limited exposure to others.

Rena has been employed with one of the top hospitals in Hampton Roads (Sentara) and with one of the largest global laboratories (LabCorp). She has spent time honing the skills necessary to venture into her own business model where she provides a service to customers who may be challenged with transportation or may be elderly or ill where obtaining necessary lab tests is difficult.

VEINIFAST MOBILE LABORATORY SERVICES is a mobile service poised to meet the needs of patients who prefer or need to have laboratory services performed in the comfort of home.
