Those of us who volunteer at SAME, see the reality of this chart below from Johnny Finn. Tonight the City Council in Hampton will be voting on an ordinance that will give enforcement action to police if they find the unhoused in a public space. The ordinance is in the comments below. Please take a look and contact the Council with your thoughts. The question I am left with is: "What is the City doing to address the structural factors and ensure the social safety net is robust and effective?"
