In the last couple years, we have been able to open a medical clinic in Portsmouth and our first-ever Great Expectations Parenting Support Center. From 2010-2018, we opened three new clinics locations in Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake and began Mission Great Expectations. The first women we saw at our Virginia Beach clinic was so moved by seeing her baby on the ultrasound that she said, “I feel it is meant for me to have my baby.” Ultrasounds continue to be a powerful moment for a woman to see the LIFE inside of her.

In the early 2000s, we were able to open our Helpline Call Center, Norfolk medical clinic, and Great Expectations Parenting Classes. This allowed us to serve a greater number of women—up to 50% more than before. This was largely due to the ability to offer ultrasounds. Even until today, the ultrasound is often the pivotal moment for a woman in crisis deciding to choose LIFE for her baby.
