Today, we raised our cups in celebration with an Equali-Tea Party! Our residents got to enjoy delicious teas, sweet treats, and uplifting conversation honoring the achievements and voices of women throughout history.

Happy Fun Fruit Friday! 🥝

Today our residents went on a delicious adventure sampling exotic fruits like dragon fruit, guava, and yellow kiwi! Our residents loved laughing and learning with Rachel, our Director of Nursing, as she taught us about using fruit for fiber and hydration.

It takes a village & a few power tools!

This weekend, our amazing staff and some of their families rolled up their sleeves and spent the day unboxing and assembling our brand new living room furniture! Now our community space is cozier than ever and ready for more memorable moments to be made.

Thank you to everyone who lent us a hand this weekend and don’t forget to check out our new and improved living room spaces!

You can’t buy happiness but you can certainly buy ice cream!

Today, our harmony square residents went for a trip to Rita’s! We love going to Rita’s for an Italian ice or a custard cone. There’s no better way to spend a cloudy day than going out to get ice cream.

Thinking back to all the fun we had under the sea at our SpongeBob social!

Our residents enjoyed seeing the decorations and of course, loved eating cake. We are almost sad to see the decorations come down as we prep for our Summer Camp theme.

Thank you to our staff for helping decorate harmony square, without their hard work we couldn’t have made this happen. And thank you to Bristol hospice for bringing the cake and helping us decorate!

Check out these spa day smiles! The ladies of Harmony Square love to show off their freshly manicured nails. We know hand hygiene is important so we like to ensure residents have clean hands and nails. And of course, we can add a little sparkle by resident request.

Check out the hard work and dedication that our incredible staff put into turning Harmony Square into Bikini Bottom from SpongeBob! Our Harmony Square director, Shelema, did a great job leading the charge. Our residents have loved seeing the decorations and enjoyed their SpongeBob Social!

We’re singing in the rain here at Oakbrooke!

The best way to spend a rainy day is doing karaoke. Led by Gillian, Life Enrichment Director, we got to enjoy the music stylings of several of our residents and staff. We had so much fun singing and cheering on our talented staff and residents!

We can’t wait to see who steps up to the mic next month 🎤

Our residents loved getting to see the different exhibits with all different types of sea creatures. What a great way to celebrate our theme for July, ‘Under the Sea’!
