My pastor asked Jawaun Porter and I to start a young adult ministry last September. In January (2023) Root’d was launched ( it was birthed in my heart wayyy before then 😊). Root’d is a vehicle that God uses to heal, transform, and build so that we can have deep roots/a firm foundation. I loveeee the way that our group is growing…in spiritual maturity as well as in numbers! We meet up for •Root’d Connects• and discuss ALLLLLL the things (yep, even those “taboo” convos), we’re building amazing relationships, started a FREE clothing drive, and make a huge impact in our community by serving (many of us attend Impact Church are active in different capacities…others teach our littles in schools/sports and are spreading the love of Christ..). We also have a GroupMe where we have daily conversations and encouragement. I’m super proud and blessed to be a part of something so amazing. ♥️
