Southern Hope Recovery Center is seeking a House Manager for our Female IOP house
Position Summary
The House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a women’s residential Substance Use Disorder treatment facility. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive living environment that promotes recovery, accountability, and personal growth. The House Manager serves as a consistent presence for residents, upholds program policies, and collaborates closely with clinical and administrative staff to support high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily house operations to maintain a safe, clean, and recovery-oriented environment
Enforce program rules, schedules, and house expectations in a fair, consistent, and trauma-informed manner
Provide supervision, guidance, and support to residents, modeling healthy boundaries and recovery-focused behaviors
Conduct resident check-ins, house meetings, and orientations for new admissions
Coordinate resident activities, transportation needs, and daily schedules as assigned
Monitor compliance with curfews, chores, medication policies (as applicable), and program requirements
Document incidents, rule violations, and relevant resident interactions in accordance with program policies
Collaborate with clinical staff regarding resident progress, concerns, and behavioral issues
Respond appropriately to crises or emergencies and follow established safety protocols
Assist with staff training, mentoring, or supervision (if applicable)
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with women in recovery strongly preferred
Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders, recovery principles, and trauma-informed care
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to maintain professional boundaries while offering compassionate support
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
