Dr. Geary began her career in nursing for the United States Navy. After working as a labor and delivery nurse at a local hospital and obtaining her nurse practitioner degree, the natural next step was to become an OBGYN while continuing to work as a full time nurse. She is proud to offer services for women, both surgical and non-surgical, and also offers services to the Chesapeake Free Clinic. A member of the Virginia Medical Association, Dr. Geary is also a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. A member of Physicians for Peace, Dr. Geary also teaches Medical Students and Residents at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center; where she is also an attending staff member.
