This week we are showcasing the procedure of Platelet Rich Plasma, PRP, injections. This therapy uses a concentrated solution from your own blood, rich in platelets and growth factors and is injected into injured areas to accelerate healing, reduce pain, and improve tissue regeneration for musculoskeletal issues. This month we are going to share some non- surgical options offered at TSOM. First up, Shockwave therapy.

Shockwave therapy (ESWT) is a noninvasive treatment using high-energy sound waves to promote healing in musculoskeletal conditions, breaking down scar tissue and stimulating blood flow and cell repair for chronic issues like plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, and tennis elbow.
