🤝📊🎯✨Still energized from this week’s CHC Leadership Workshop: From Scorekeeper to Strategist!

We had 35 engaged leaders in the room, representing 6 CT health centers and health centers from RI, VT, NH, and SC.

So many great conversations around using financial data to drive strategy, communicate more effectively with non-financial leaders, and elevate the role of finance across health centers. Grateful to the attendees for sharing their perspectives and real-world experience.

And thanks also to CHC/ACT partner and Diamond Sponsor Forvis Mazars US for facilitating and sharing your expertise!

🤝 CHC/ACTors volunteered at Connecticut Foodshare yesterday, sorting and packing frozen meat to be sent to local food pantries.

Since September, 2024, the CHC/ACT team has set aside time to volunteer at CT Foodshare - for a total of 32,893 pounds of food sorted, providing 25,893 meals to people in need.

CHC/ACT's HCCN presented a free webinar today, "Navigating Cyber Insurance: What Community Health Centers Need to Know." Seventy-five participants from health centers in CT, RI, and six other states joined us for this important discussion.

Very informative legislative breakfast today at Community Health & Wellness, in partnership with McCall Behavioral Health Network & Brooker Memorial. Thanks to Rep Jahana Hayes, State Senator Paul Honig, State Representative Maria Horn, State Rep Jillian Gilchrest, State Rep Jay Case, CT Department of Social Services Dr Mehul Dalal, and the many community members who joined to learn about state and federal priorities to maintain & enhance health care access in the northwest corner of CT!

Yesterday, Chris Mulhall, Senior Program Manager, Workforce Development at Community Health Center Association of Connecticut stopped by the Torrington Health Center to present CHWC with Nursing Resource manuals to better support new staff and preceptors.
