Well that was a WHOLE LOT of FUN yesterday! 🤩 Big shout out and Thank you to the Alzheimer's Association: Vermont Chapter for a fantastic Walk to . People living with Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementia related diagnoses require a TON of help and support from one another in our communities. The need for ongoing research, and expanded resources for individuals, caregivers, and families is more important than ever right now.

A HUGE Thank you to all who donated, walked, and to those who continue to do the exceptionally hard work every day to keep one another safe while living with memory impairments. Stay informed and keep up the fight to END Alzheimer's ! 🚶‍♀️🚶🧑‍🦯

WOW, WOW, WOW! Thank you SO much to all the people who have joined our team and contributed money to support the friends and participants of the Equipoise Occupational Therapy team! We are so appreciative of the contributions to the Alzheimer's Association! 🥳

It looks like this much needed rain is going to stop just in time for us to Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday Sept. 27th in Rutland VT. There is a .5 mi walk and a 1.8 mi. walk to chose from.💦🌞

100% of all money raised goes direct to the Alzheimer's Association for ongoing research and programs.

➡️ and the research continues to demonstrate It's TRUE! purposeful lifestyle choices such as WALKING🚶‍♀️🚶👩‍🦯 can help slow cognitive decline in aging adults! Come on out, and support others whose lives are affected by Alzheimer's disease while supporting your own health and aging. 🧠🫁💜

September is Su***de Awareness Month. Every month of the year is a good month to be looking out for one another, with care. 🌻

Familiarize yourself with signs to watch for and action steps you can take to support someone who is considering su***de.
Most importantly- don't ignore the signs if you see or hear them!

You're not alone. Whether you have struggled with su***de yourself or have lost a loved one support is available.
