Our Door is Always Open: Meet Donna and Jessie Poole, owners of Arcadia Assisted Living of Chester

Welcome… and come on in and meet Donna Poole (left) and her daughter Jessie (right), owners of the Arcadia Living. What began in 2006 as a licensed assisted living facility in Donna’s home has grown to seven locations and has been Maryland’s premier assisted living facility for 20 consecutive years. Donna also has taken on a volunteer role as a community educator and legislative advocate at state and federal levels speaking about the impacts of Alzheimer’s and the importance of continued funding for research and treatments.

Today, we spotlight Administrative Professionals Day by celebrating the amazing contributions of Rachel Meiklejohn, whose outstanding support in human resources, marketing, and operations has been so very instrumental to every aspect of Arcadia Assisted Living. ⭐️

Rachel inspires so many including our community thru her organizational efforts in coordinating our ALZ WALK Teams and our SYM SIM program. Rachel truly makes a wonderful impact on our residents, families, and coworkers with her warm compassion, enthusiasm and unwavering dedication every single day. ⭐️ Thank you Rachel for all you do! We appreciate you!!

We love celebrating the Holidays together as one big family at Arcadia of Chester! Reminiscing precious memories, sharing favorite Holiday traditions, and decorating our home for the Season are just a few of our favorite things to do every year.

We got everything done just in time for our annual Christmas party where we sang our favorite Christmas Carols, played Holiday games, ate yummy Chic Fila and exchanged presents! 🎁
