On August 31, the Shevlin Foundation Overdose Awareness and Remembrance Walk was a powerful day of honoring lives lost to overdose.

Families, friends and communities came together to remember loved ones, support one another and raise awareness about addiction.

The day was also filled with hope, as many individuals in recovery attended the event. We were especially grateful to see so many KeyStone Center alumni stop by our table to share their recovery journeys and inspire others.

This event is a reminder that while we must honor those we’ve lost, it’s equally important to recognize that recovery is possible—and individuals do recover.

We are proud to recognize Chalie Snyder as our Employee of the Month for his exceptional dedication, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to our organization’s success!

Over the past month, Chalie played a critical role in a major project to make our facility Wi-Fi capable. From planning and configuring the network infrastructure to hands-on installation and troubleshooting, he was instrumental every step of the way, ensuring seamless connectivity across all buildings.

Chalie went above and beyond, often working late into the evening to meet deadlines and keep the project on track. Even under pressure, he maintained a positive attitude and stayed focused on delivering results.

Thanks to his leadership, our facility now has robust and reliable Wi-Fi, creating a more connected and efficient working environment for everyone. Thank you, Chalie, for your hard work, professionalism, and outstanding contributions!
