I’ve come across a few people over the past two weeks who were really sick. Like severe cold sick. So I thought it would be a great time to re-share some valuable information.

I just heard the news say “and also boost your immune system with vaccines” and while I’m not an antivaxer I do think this is terrible advice!

The report was verifying whether or not colder weather increases your chances of getting sick. There was all of this great information on how to not get sick and then I heard what I heard.

Yea, of course, if you want to get the flu shot get it. These are decisions that should remain between you and your doctor. But it seems anti-healthcare to not inform people how to boost their immune system naturally so we don’t have to rely so heavily on man-made solutions (but we all know that saying … follow the money and see where it goes).

Here are some ways you can increase your immune system naturally
•sleep (yep! And I think you know why good quality sleep is important)
•eat real whole food and not processed s**t (to get more bioavailable vitamins and minerals)
•food rich in antioxidants (all the berries, nuts, spinach herbs and spices)
•healthy fats (olive oil, avocado)
•probiotics (either in supplement form or kimchi and yogurt or other fermented foods)

Also- increase water, exercise and decrease stress and sugar.
I hate being sick. I hate getting shots. I love sleep and food. Seems like a win-win.
