Good handwashing is key to preventing norovirus and other 🦠’s that cause vomiting and diarrhea. Usually vomiting is short lived and comes on quickly. It is key to stay hydrated between episodes with pedialyte or Gatorade (for older kids), but small amounts are key. Aim for 1oz every 15-20 minutes. Follow the link for more info.

Norovirus is the leading cause of vomiting and diarrhea, and foodborne illness in the United States.
