👏 Therapist Spotlight: Brendan LaCorte, LPC

If anxiety is running your life, whether through constant overthinking, avoidance, intrusive thoughts, or fear of specific situations, Brendan LaCorte specializes in helping you take that control back.

Brendan works with children, teens, and adults, with a particular interest in supporting boys and men who may struggle to open up about anxiety. He focuses primarily on two highly effective, evidence-based treatments: Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT).

These approaches are especially powerful for individuals dealing with:

* Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
* Social anxiety
* Generalized anxiety
* Agoraphobia
* Specific phobias

In practical terms, Brendan helps clients gradually face fears, reduce compulsive behaviors, break free from mental loops, and build confidence in handling uncertainty. Rather than offering quick reassurance, his work focuses on helping clients develop lasting skills that translate into real-life change.

With experience in intensive and outpatient anxiety treatment settings, Brendan brings both structure and compassion to therapy. He believes his role is to help clients recognize their own strength and gain mastery over the patterns that have been keeping them stuck.

If anxiety or OCD is limiting your world, Brendan is here to help you expand it.
