🌟 We are very excited to announce our team is growing! Terrell Yerby, Resident in Counseling, is joining the Seven Wellness Team.

Terrell is interested in working with these populations:
- Black Men
- Anyone struggling with grief and loss
- Relationship issues

Terrell brings years of service working in the human services field and is excited for the therapy journey.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚 And this week, we honor the mothers who made a way, even when they didn’t have one.

Many of our mothers did the best they could with what they had. And now, as daughters and sons, we have the right to decide what we want to carry forward and what we choose to lay down.

We break cycles, not to shame the past, but to PROTECT the FUTURE. 🌍

This week, we honor mothers…for what they gave, and for what they survived.

Yesterday, we had an amazing time serving alongside the PAC of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at their Community Empowerment Event! We connected with community members and partners to better identify needs and link individuals to valuable resources. We’re excited to keep building stronger communities together!

As we enter the final stretch of Social Work Month, I just want to take a moment to appreciate the dedication, and heart that social workers bring to the world every day.

Whether in hospitals, schools, DSS, community based services, or private practice, we SHOW UP…holding space, advocating, and standing in the gap for those who need us most.

To my fellow social workers: You are seen. You are valued. You are necessary. The work we do isn’t easy, but it is impactful.
