🌼 3 Ways to Regulate Your Nervous System
Your nervous system is your body’s command center — it controls how you think, feel, move, and respond to the world around you. When it’s calm and balanced, your body can rest, digest, and heal more easily.
Here are three simple ways to support and regulate your nervous system:
1️⃣ Breath Work
Slow, intentional breathing tells your body it’s safe. Try inhaling for 4 counts, exhaling for 6. This activates your parasympathetic “rest and digest” system — the opposite of stress mode.
2️⃣ Grounding
Step outside barefoot, feel the ground beneath you, and tune into your senses. Grounding helps bring your awareness out of your mind and back into your body — calming anxiety and improving focus.
3️⃣ Chiropractic Adjustments
Gentle adjustments remove interference in the spine, allowing your nervous system to communicate clearly. This helps your body adapt better to stress, improves regulation, and supports overall wellbeing.
