We recently obtained a great video from Dr. Hassan displaying our Hassan™ Forceps in action.

These forceps feature one sharp and one rounded corner designed to make ILM peeling easier and reduce shredding. The sharp corner is used for initiating the peel, and the rounded corner is designed to peel with reduced shredding. These are available in our patented Stiff DEX™ 25ga and 27ga formats, offering the surgeon 19g stiffness in the shaft of the instrument. This product is another example of Katalyst's collaboration with world-class surgeons to drive innovation in our industry.

Katalyst™ Surgical is a 10-year old company that is heavily focused on Retina innovation, and has the largest, independent offering of Retina instrumentation in the industry. Management of Katalyst™ consists of the founder and former 17-year CEO of Synergetics. Katalyst™ also has multiple key managers that were also instrumental in building Synergetics.
