Together we will create personalized actions based on your goals, preferences, resources, and unique body to move you toward your ideal vision of health. My name is Melissa Hatch and I live in Chesterfield, VA, a suburb of Richmond. I have been married to my husband, Corey, for 17 years, and together we have two teenagers. We also have a mini zoo at our house with two cats, a Pomsky puppy, and approximately 20,000 bees (we are beekeepers). Since I was in high school, I have been interested in both health and environmental stewardship. I am a master’s prepared registered nurse, a yoga instructor (RYT 200), as well as an integrative health coach. My background in nursing includes both cardiac care and anesthesia. I left my hospital nursing job when my children were young and intended to go back when they get older. But each time I began to get ready, something was holding me back. I felt like I wanted to care for people in a different way than was possible in a hospital setting, treating them more holistically and working with them towards long-term wellness. And I wanted to become more educated about living in tune with our natural environment. I have learned so much in the past several years through studying yoga, meditation, and holistic health coaching. Some of my favorite things to do include yoga, hiking, swimming, reading, gardening, learning to make more food at home, and studying more natural and environmentally friendly ways of living. I’m also obsessed with my animals. I understand that the experience of making changes in one’s lifestyle can be daunting. It is my hope that we can partner together to make the process more enjoyable and less overwhelming, and through our relationship, you can maintain these changes for years to come.
