Dr. Schoenwalder, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician since 2005, practiced traditional Internal Medicine for a decade. However, his frustration with the existing healthcare system and the belief that it did not contribute to the long-term health of his patients led him to explore alternative approaches. Motivated by a desire to address chronic illnesses more effectively, he transitioned

to functional/preventative medicine, obtaining certification in the field. Driven by passion, he appreciates the holistic focus of this new medical approach. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Mike has witnessed the benefits of shifting from treating isolated symptoms to addressing the entirety of a person's health. He diligently stays updated by participating in various continuing education programs to maintain his credentials and certifications.
