Build some heat with us this week 🔥

When we’re cold, our circulation decreases, which leads to constriction in the muscles and joints. Though we know how tempting it can be to avoid the snowy roads and stay snuggled up on your cozy couch, did you know that winter weather is actually one of the best times to keep up a consistent yoga practice?!

Through our practice, we develop an internal heat to keep us warm, happy, and healthy ☺️

Looking to level up your yoga practice and try some new skills?

Try our Sunday intermediate class
@ 8:30am 🧘‍♀️

This monthly class is designed to give you the space and knowledge to explore the more challenging side of practice. Each session focuses on something specific like a pose or certain action like jumping back and forth on the mat, breaking it all down and giving you a solid foundation.

Best part is you DON'T have to be an intermediate practitioner, just someone who has been taking class for a little while and wants to try and lear. something new.

When I started practicing yoga, I expected to learn new things but I didn't expect to unlearn a lot of things in the process.

Here's some of the things I unlearned......

• 1. The belief that resting is lazy and that you should always be busy or have something to show for your time. Yoga teaches us the importance of slowing down and how it can actually be more productive than running around aimlessly all day
• 2. The idea that there is a single "right" way to do things. Yoga teaches us that there are so many avenues and approaches to get to the same destination.
• 3. Natural born talent isnt the only way to get good at something. Yoga teaches us that learning something new is a process. It asks us to be patient with our progress.
• 4. Moving without purpose. Yoga teaches us that rushing through poses or your practice takes you away from the present moment. Every move you make becomes mindful.
• 5. Comparing myself to others. Yoga teaches us that everyone is unique, with different strengths & weaknesses. It asks us to simply meet ourselves where we are.
