May 2024

This month is Brain Tumor Awareness Month.

We were finishing up the school year.

We had some fun times around the campfire cooking s’mores and hotdogs.

We tried to catch the Northern Lights. We caught a little of them but still great memories.

The kids had fun washing vehicles when the weather started to turn warm. Water fights are our favorite but the hose water is a bit chilly.

We ended the month going to Brick Fest. Legos was something Micah enjoyed while we were impatient. We had fun looking at all the different types of legos and the creations that were made. There was one of the Lego Masters that attended too.

Finally, we checked on our garden that we started.

March 2024

March started off with Micah Ringing the Bell! πŸ”” His Doctor (Dr. Snyder) and his Nurse (Corrine) along with and the Ped Hemoc staff were amazing at Beacon!

We kept Isabella at preschool, due to the Hemoc floor was not a place to bring germs into. We wanted to make the attendance as small and healthy as possible while showing support for Micah.

Micah had conquered this mountain and can now look back at all the hard work he persevered through.

We also had a chance to see Kendall perform her solos (yes, two solos)! She had a vocal and a recorder solo. She did such a great job! So proud of her for auditioning, practicing and following through.

We squeezed in some fun with bowling also.

The month ended with Easter with Grandma Cloud at the Faith Chapel Church and then again at Grandmas house. We the. Ended our visit with a little celebration of our littlest turning 4.

February 2024

We spend a lot of weekends this month watching Kendall play Basketball.

Micah got his haircut for the first time in two years! His hair grew back fast!

Micah also continues to do Physical Therapy. We also try to take home swimming when we can. A really good work out that he has fun doing. We continue to use to do stretches at home but he hates them.

We also decided to start the transition of change. We have been talking about it a lot as a family and my husband decided to pursue passion of Art. He stepped away from his job at the Mill and decided to look for a job in graphic design while working on more Art Projects on the side. He used his talent and made me a small wooden sign for my office. It is my Hobbit Door! πŸ₯°.

January 2024

We started this new year looking for ways to be more present. This was the year of change. As a family, going through this journey, it made it even more clear how present we needed to be for each other.

This month we drove out to South Dakota and surprised Uncle Aaron with his new position as Lead Pastor at GracePoint Wesleyan Church. He had no idea we were coming to support him.

By goodness was it sooo incredibly chilly!! Minus 50 degrees! It is always a blast to hangout with he Dakotan gang. 😜

Micah started Physical Therapy this month. Kendall started Basketball.
We got some snow and decided to play in it and of course more cousin sleepovers.

December 2023

The end of December was full of heartache, grief, love, Peace, Gratitude and Celebration.

Missing an important piece of our family, our Papa Cloud, but celebrating that there is no evidence of Caner for Micah.

We spent time my family, surrounded by those we love! Jack showed us where baby Jesus was in the tree, we held a small Christmas Eve service like Papa Cloud would this year. The kids did such a great job putting it all together. We went in an Christmas Stroll through the Sunken Garden Christmas Lights. We also enjoyed a small DJ production hosted by yours truly, Isabella! πŸ˜‚πŸ₯°πŸŽ„βœοΈ

Pediatric brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death among children, and the odds they face are staggering. But we believe in the power to change those odds! βš”οΈ
