Medicaid Waiver Amendments Released for Public Comment

Amendments to the CIH, Family Supports, Health & Wellness, TBI, and 1915 B(4) waivers are open for public comment, now through March 13, with a projected effective date of August 2026. We will be closely reviewing the amendments and sharing information as soon as possible. Sounding out CVC words (constant-vowel-constant) like “nut” is a big deal. In speech therapy, we’re working on letter sounds, tongue placement, & blending sounds together to build strong early reading skills. & We’re pairing that with fine-motor-fun!

By turning it into a game, learning feels like play and confidence grows with every try. One sound at a time. One word at a time. Big progress. 💬✨

We’re excited to share a sneak peek of our new visual schedule board!

Ms. Monica has been working hard to help create a tool that will assist with session planning and engagement.

These boards help children understand and plan their session activities, making transitions smoother and sessions more successful.

We can’t wait to start using it with our patients!

Puzzles and ABC peg boards help kids build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem solving, and early letter awareness.

In Developmental Therapy, we use play-based activities like these to strengthen the skills kids need for everyday tasks while keeping sessions fun, engaging, and confidence-boosting. 🧩🔤
