Wear repellent!!!

While they may not seem as threatening as a bear or wolverine, ticks are a huge concern for hiker safety at Indiana Dunes National Park. Avoid diseases carried by these biting pests by checking yourself for ticks after being outdoors. Plan ahead, use insect repellent, and wear long-sleeved shirts tucked into pants whenever possible.
