Patient Traffic Alert!
Rte 9 is temporarily shut down at the crossroads at Hammond Street due to a truck that caught fire on Holly Lane.
If you are coming down Rte 9 on the east bound side, take a right onto Hammond Pond Pkwy, a left onto Heath, and a left onto Tully. Then pull behind Charles Schwab and find parking.

Skin emergencies don’t take a holiday on the 4th of July!

So here are 4 quick skin rescue tips to keep your July 4th worry-free:

🚴 #1 ROAD RASHES
Minor scrapes? Wash gently with soap & water, apply antibiotic ointment + a nonstick bandage. Reapply ointment and change bandage daily. Skip the peroxide, alcohol, or iodine!
Deeper wounds? Seek medical help.
Tip: Moisture-seal bandages make healing easier and shower-friendly!

🍹 #2 MARGARITA DERMATITIS ☀️
Lime + sun = blistery rash [AKA phytophotodermatitis]!
To avoid: always thoroughly wash hands after squeezing lime + apply SPF before heading outside.
For discomfort from blistering: use cool compresses + topical steroid creams.

🐝 #3 INSECT STING
Stung at the BBQ? Remove the stinger, apply ice + hydrocortisone, soothe with antihistamine.
To avoid: No barefoot walking in the grass!
Symptoms going beyond the sting site? Call 911

🌡️ #4 HEAT RASH
Tiny bumps, itchy skin folds? You have prickly heat. Cool down with air conditioning or press cold cloth on rash, use a little hydrocortisone for relief.
To avoid: Say no to tight clothes and polyester.
