We’ve started seeing some signs of recovery in the news, and are hopeful that the state will be ready to reopen on May 25th in line with Governor Baker’s existing order.

We continue to schedule telemedicine visits, and continue to see patients with urgent and emergent needs. We will be maintaining all of our current office procedures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff including:

All staff has daily temperature checks.

All patients must undergo a phone screen prior to entering the office.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, we may ask that you re-schedule your appointment and follow up with your P*P.

Patients are asked to wait in their cars until their appointment time to avoid crowding in the waiting room. Our front office manager Colleen will call you when we’re ready to see you

We ask you to wear a mask or cloth face covering for your visit. I may ask you to remove this temporarily during your exam.

No patient visitors (except for minor children or in special circumstances).

We are thoroughly cleaning our exam rooms and waiting area after every patient visit.

How do I choose a sunscreen for the day? I love options. I keep a lot of different options at hand. First, there are some things that I always want:

Broad spectrum

Comfort. I find that lighter formulations are more comfortable in the summertime, but moisturizing formulations are nicer on my skin in winter.

Smooth application. I want to be sure that the product won’t be clumpy or miss a spot.

Double duty. If I’m using the sunscreen and plan to skip wearing foundation, then I want color, so that I can skip that extra step of wearing a makeup also.
