As a Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience, Gigi has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care experiences. Her journey in healthcare has taken her through various settings, from hospitals to long-term care facilities. Throughout her extensive nursing background, which also includes leadership positions in population health, clinical education, and healthcare technology, her passion for working with seniors has remained constant.

In addition to holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing, Gigi has earned her EssentiALZ certification from the Alzheimer’s Association and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, allowing her to provide comprehensive support and care to individuals facing these challenging conditions.

In 2021, a personal experience changed the course of her professional journey. After being diagnosed with breast cancer and tragically losing her mother to the same disease, she was profoundly moved to honor her mother’s legacy and pursue her mother’s unfulfilled dream. Her mother, Jill, a dedicated nurse in long-term care, shared her regret of never opening her own care home for seniors. Fueled by a newfound understanding of the preciousness of life, Gigi made a decision to open a residential assisted living home, embodying her mother’s values of compassionate, dignified, person-centered care.

In addition to her dedication to seniors, Gigi actively contributes to her community as a Bethesda Chamber of Commerce member. She is also an advocate for women’s health, striving to educate women about early breast cancer screening and treatment. She shares her personal experience and empowers others to prioritize their well-being.

Gigi is truly passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of seniors and their families. With her extensive nursing experience, specialized expertise in dementia care, and a heartfelt commitment to honoring her mother’s legacy, Gigi strives to provide exceptional care and support to those entrusted to Jill’s Harbor residential assisted living facility.
