We’re excited to announce that the NEW Health Mobile Dental Clinic is coming to Colville Jr. High on Thursday, April 2nd!

We’re bringing high-quality dental care directly to students, ensuring they receive essential services without needing to leave school. This convenient approach makes it easier for kids to maintain their oral health while staying focused on their education.

During their visit, students can receive, dental cleanings, dental exams, and X-rays.
All services are provided on-site, during the school day.

We were honored to welcome Congressman Michael Baumgartner and Field Representative Steve Bruchman, Chewelah City Mayor Lindsay Baxter, City of Chewelah Administrator Tonya Wallace, Stevens County Commissioner Mark Burrows, USDA Community Programs Specialist Rick Rose, and members of the local media to Chewelah today to learn more about the future NEW Health Chewelah Campus and our plans to expand healthcare access in rural Northeast Washington.

The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to highlight how this project will strengthen healthcare services and support workforce development across our region. We’re grateful for the strong interest and support from community partners, local leaders, and media who joined us.

During the visit, two members of the NEW Health team, Mellisa and Ethan, were recognized by Congressman Baumgartner with a United States Congressional Coin!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this an exciting step forward for Chewelah and the surrounding region.

Yesterday, NEW Health was out in the community at the Kettle Falls Career Fair 💙 Kevin connected with students, sharing opportunities and exploring future careers in healthcare.

“I was impressed by the engagement from the juniors and seniors,” Kevin shared. “We had quite a few interested in nursing, hygiene, and even marketing—with one student especially driven to become a physician. Seeing these young adults forming decisions based on their interests and passions is wonderful to see.”

Our Story

Incorporated in 1978 and governed by a Board of Directors, NEW Health is a private 501(c) non-profit FQHC (Federally Qualified Heath Center) health care organization. Today, NEW Health operates eight (8) Community Health Centers and three (3) Community Dental Clinics.

NEW Health is committed to ensuring access to affordable healthcare for all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. We offer medical services in Chewelah, Colville, Orient, Nine Mile Falls, Loon Lake, Northport, Ione, and Springdale and offer dental services in Colville, Nine Mile Falls, and Springdale. NEW Health has in-house pharmacies available to our patients located in our Chewelah, Colville and Lake Spokane clinics for easy on-site accessibility and the benefit of close interaction between your pharmacist and health care provider.

NEW Health Programs Association's mission is to ensure that a comprehensive range of high quality health care services is available to best meet the health care needs of the people residing in our service area. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurances and offer a sliding discount program.
