Sometimes, our kiddos need a little help figuring out what to do with the energy in their bodies!

Here are 4 different tools for real-life kid moods:

🔥 High energy?
Let them move BIG before expecting them to settle.

🎯 Need focus?
Play with balance and rhythm to activate their attention.

💛 Want connection?
Co-regulation through mirroring and shared breath builds safety fast.

🌙 Bedtime struggles?
Slow the body and help the nervous system switch over to rest mode 😌

These aren’t just cute yoga tricks!

They're valuable tools to support your child’s nervous system — which leaves everyone in the family feeling happier and more connected ❤️

Save for later, use 'em when you need 'em!

Our wonderful wellness community has been growing, and I am SO HAPPY YOU'RE HERE!

Hi 👋

Welcome 🙏

If you're new here, I want you to know that this space isn't about perfect poses or perfect lives.

You don't have to be flexible.
You don't have to be calm.
You just have to be human (and maybe OK with occasional swearing 😂)

We can't wait to see and practice with you!

"If we wait until we’re ready, we’ll be waiting for the rest of our lives.” That's a Lemony Snicket quote - shout out if you were also obsessed with his books as a kid 🙌

Trying new things can feel scary — that’s our sweet little brains trying to keep us safe!

But we know that new things are how we grow 💕

Every small step builds new neural pathways, strengthens our confidence, and teaches our nervous system that we can handle novelty and challenge 💪

So what's something new you'd like to try this year?

The New Moon (and the weather!) today might have you craving something soft, slow, and cozy 🌑

If that's the case, here are a few poses you could do in bed 😴

✨️ Legs up the wall / headboard

✨️ Butterfly, slow, full breaths with hands on the heart and belly

✨️ Child's pose, supported by as many pillows as you like

✨️ A pillow beneath the shoulders as you open your arms wide and hug them back in

✨️ Use a pillowcase to support your leg, hugging it up and in for a gentle stretch (I feel like a genius for this one 🙌)

✨️ Savasana / take a nap / turn on a meditation from your favorite app

February’s tarot card is the Five of Swords ⚔️

This card can feel a little... big — full of conflict, ego, and tension. But we can think of it as less about chaos and more about awareness 💭

The Five of Swords invites us to look at how we handle disagreement. It asks us to notice where pride, old patterns, or unspoken hurt might be driving the conversation.

And it also reminds us that not every battle is meant to be fought 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes growth looks like:
✨ choosing clarity over control
✨ setting a boundary without escalating
✨ walking away with your energy intact
✨ admitting when something no longer aligns

This month, we’re practicing honest reflection without self-judgment.

Protecting our peace without abandoning our truth.

Learning when to stand firm — and when to soften.

And the journal prompts in this post are here to help you explore that gently 💛

These are the questions we answer in our camps and classes 😂

Plus, you know,

✨️ how to treat ourselves and others with kindness

✨️ what we can do when we're feeling all the feelings

✨️ and how to move, stretch, and strengthen our bodies to keep them happy and healthy 💖

If those sounds like things you want your kiddo to practice, consider checking out one of our kids' classes!

We have 3 different age groups, ranging from 3 - 13, and I might be biased, but I think they're all wonderful 😉

We have drop in classes available to try out the week of February 23rd!

Another 6-week series will start in March 😊
