True story with the last lab in class today.
My partner was laying supine and I brought her leg into passive straight raise, there was about a 35 degree angle. Sat her up and did compression of the pyloric spinchter with alternating sliding. Then went to test the lumbar. The pull was to the lower left hip.
**in my brain I was thinking of prior pregnancies and sacral flexion pattern and the movement of the bones**
Concentrating on waiting for the body to let go on its own and release my hands, I felt it go.
Back down on the table and into passive straight leg raise and we now have full 90 degree. In just a few minutes.
Amazing. How can the pyloric sphincter effect the range of motion in the leg?
Looking forward to what tomorrow brings and even more excited to see how much this will benefit my clients.
