Are You the Thermostat or the Thermometer When It Comes to Your Health? đĄïžđ„
A thermometer reacts.
It measures the temperature of the room and reflects whatever is happening around it. If the environment is hot, itâs hot. If itâs cold, itâs cold. No controlâjust reaction.
A thermostat, on the other hand, sets the tone.
It decides the temperature and adjusts the environment to match. No matter whatâs going on outside, the thermostat maintains the climate it was set to create.
When it comes to your health choices and habits, which one are you?
âą Thermometers: react to stress, schedules, and convenience. Skipped meals, fast food, and âIâll get to it laterâ workouts happen when life gets busy.
âą Thermostats: set priorities in advance. Healthy meal choices. Movement is scheduled like an important meeting. Rest is non-negotiable.
Hereâs the truth: being a thermostat doesnât mean life is perfect. It means youâve decided your health is a âno matter what settingâ, not a reaction.
This week, I challenge you to check your âsettings.â
What small adjustment can you make right now to set the tone for your health, no matter whatâs going on around you?
Drop your answer in the commentsâIâd love to hear how youâre taking control of the climate of your health.
