Front Range Nuclear Services, Inc. Front Range Nuclear Services (FRNS) provides high-quality and affordable nuclear imaging solutions to hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.

A single-photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT) scan lets your doctor analyze the function of some of your internal organs. A SPECT scan is a type of nuclear imaging test, which means it uses a radioactive substance and a special camera to create 3-D pictures. We deliver this technology in a number of ways, depending upon the customer's specific needs. Many small hospitals receive our service from a mobile unit, which is a custom built tractor-trailer that houses a fully capable nuclear imaging suite. The mobile unit is delivered to the facility on a scheduled basis. Once parked, patients are transported from the hospital to the mobile unit for imaging. The technologist processes the images and sends them to the reading physician for interpretation. Some facilities choose to have our equipment in-house instead of being on a mobile schedule. This solution is best suited for those facilities that prefer to have their nuclear department managed by a professional contracted service rather than internally manage the department. The advantages: we provide the radiation safety officer, the nuclear physicist support, the radioactive materials license, the staff, the equipment, the radio-pharmaceuticals, the service agreement for the equipment, and much more. In essence, we take on all the headaches involved with nuclear imaging so the hospital can focus its attention on other areas. The facility simply schedules patients for their exams: we take care of the rest. Scheduled for construction or equipment upgrades? We provide interim lease solutions to ensure your nuclear imaging department continues without a break in service. We will park a fully contained mobile unit at your facility, ensure it is connected to your hospital PACS, provide applications training on the equipment, maintain a service agreement on the equipment, and provide tele-support during the term of the lease: all of this for a manageable monthly lease payment. We offer a reduced fee schedule for those facilities that have their own equipment. We will staff your department and any other nuclear imaging related responsibility needed to get your department up and running again. Clinics use us too! Another Very Happy Client!

A California hospital is undergoing major construction in its imaging department and needed a way to keep their department running for the next few months while going through this process. Despite the tight parking area, we skillfully placed a fully contained nuclear imaging department in their lot complete with patient lift, environmental controls, back-up generator, and a beautiful Siemens e.cam perfectly tuned for exceptional diagnostic imaging.

The Imaging Manager came aboard shortly after we arrived on location. He asked us if we've contacted the PACS Administrator, security, or the IT department. “No worries, we’ve already taken care of everything. Come in and take a look around,” we said. “There is so much more workspace in the coach than we have in our department,” said the Imaging Manager. “Our Technologist is going to be thrilled,” he said. That’s music to our ears … another happy customer!
