Patriot Day Remembrance
Today, we honor the lives lost on 9/11 and pay tribute to the bravery of our first responders. Our community created a heartfelt memorial display, and two of our residents—retired volunteer firefighters—visited a local fire station to share lunch and gratitude. Root beer floats—simple, nostalgic, and always a hit! Here's a quick classic recipe in case you're whipping some up: Classic Root Beer Float Ingredients: 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream 1 cup of chilled root beer Optional: whipped cream or cherry on top Instructions: Scoop ice cream into a tall glass. Slowly pour root beer over the ice cream. Add toppings if desired. Serve with a straw and spoon! Residents: Joanne, Chris, and Patsy. Great friends + root beer floats = amazing memories!
