🌙 Wondering why you feel utterly wiped out during your period?
It’s totally common. Hormonal shifts—like dropping estrogen and rising progesterone—can zap your energy. Heavy bleeding may lead to iron loss (sometimes anemia), while cramps, disrupted sleep, and stress only add to the fatigue. LOW ENERGY ≠ always “normal.” 🌿

Quick tips to boost your energy: stay hydrated, eat iron‑rich foods and B vitamins, stay active (think gentle walks or yoga), get good sleep, and manage stress. If fatigue feels overpowering—or is paired with dizziness or breathlessness—it’s worth checking in with your doctor.

🌸 Perimenopause in Your 30s? It’s Real.

Women in their early 30s are reporting symptoms long thought to only begin later—things like hot flashes, anxiety, sleep issues, brain fog, unexplained weight gain, and irregular cycles. Many assume they’re too young to be entering perimenopause and suffer in silence. Studies show that 55% of women aged 30–35 report moderate-to-severe symptoms, and over 64% between ages 36–40 do too—but most wait until their mid‑50s to seek care.

If you’re experiencing surprising changes, trust your body. Early conversations with your healthcare provider and tracking symptoms—before it becomes overwhelming—can make a difference.

Uterine cancer (most often endometrial cancer) typically starts in the uterine lining. The earliest and most common sign is irregular va**nal bleeding or spotting, especially after menopause.
Other symptoms to watch for include:
- Unusual va**nal discharge, often blood‑tinged or foul‑smelling
- Pelvic pain or pressure
- Abdominal bloating or digestive discomfort
- Frequent urination or urinary changes
- Unexpected weight loss

Since there’s no routine screening for uterine cancer, recognizing and reporting these symptoms early is vital. Early diagnosis can lead to survival rates as high as 95%

🌸 Do va**nal probiotics actually work?
They’re everywhere—but science says most aren’t proven to prevent or treat infections like BV or yeast. Some may help when paired with antibiotics, but the wrong strains can do more harm than good. Talk to your doctor before trying them!

Despite receiving standard anesthesia like an epidural or spinal block, up to 11% of people still report feeling pain during their cesarean delivery—sometimes described as a sharp stabbing sensation, or pressure as though someone was pushing inside them.

🩹 This can happen due to anesthesia not fully taking effect, improper placement, or the urgency of an emergency procedure.

This issue is too often dismissed, which can lead to lasting emotional trauma and even PTSD. Healthcare teams need to listen, respond when pain is felt, and advocate for better communication and compassionate care.

Your voice matters—in surgery and beyond. 💪

Even fleeting symptoms—like facial droop, limb weakness or numbness, slurred speech, vision changes, vertigo, or severe headache—can signal a transient ischemic attack (TIA). These “ministrokes” may resolve quickly but carry a high risk of a full stroke—especially within 48 hours to 90 days. Women are at particular risk of being misdiagnosed due to subtler or “nonspecific” symptoms such as fatigue, confusion, or nausea. Don’t hesitate: call emergency services immediately—even if symptoms fade. Acting FAST (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) or better yet BE‑FAST (adding Balance and Eyes) can save lives. 💜

You may have heard of "Ozempic babies," which is the phenomenon of people taking Ozempic and finding it easier to get pregnant or having surprise pregnancies. Most reports of "Ozempic babies" are anecdotal, and there's no data on how many people have gotten pregnant as a result of taking Ozempic.

At this time, there's limited research on how Ozempic may affect fertility and birth control. However, one theory is that because the medication can help you lose weight and regulate metabolism, it may increase your fertility. Likewise, because Ozempic can help reduce symptoms of polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS)—a common cause of infertility—it may increase infertility in some individuals with PCOS.

Pregnancy discharge is va**nal discharge—a fluid-like substance that comes from the va**na called leucorrhoea—that happens during pregnancy. Every adult with a female reproductive system has va**nal discharge, but many people notice an increase in discharge during pregnancy. In fact, an increase in va**nal discharge may be one of the first signs you are pregnant.

Although pregnancy discharge is normal and typically nothing to worry about, it might mean that you have an infection when it's associated with a bad smell, itching, or pain.2 If left untreated, infections can lead to pregnancy complications. Talk to your healthcare provider as soon as you notice changes to your va**nal discharge to ensure you get a diagnosis and treatment plan.
