I’m Jo, and I am passionate about guiding others on their path to wellness and self-discovery. My journey in the healing arts began in 2009 when I had my own life crisis and desperately needed guidance to navigate some big challenges. Since then, I have dedicated myself to mastering various techniques that promote holistic health and well-being. As a certified HeartMath trainer, Reiki master, hypnotherapist, and Spinal Flow student, I bring a unique blend of skills and experiences to my practice. My approach is rooted in the belief that true healing encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. Over the years, I have helped countless individuals find relief from stress, achieve emotional balance, and connect more deeply with themselves. Yesterday we celebrated my granddaughter’s first birthday.
There was pizza, sandwiches, cupcakes, cocktails… joy everywhere.

I chose water.

Not because food is bad —
but because this fast isn’t about food.

I’m down to my last 7 hours now,
and my body feels grateful. Clear. Almost like it’s singing.

This experience has reminded me that the hardest part isn’t physical hunger —it’s emotional reflex.

Choosing presence over impulse
has been a powerful act of self-trust. Food will always be there. Presence is what we practice.

I’m starting the year with a 72-hour fast — not as punishment, but as a pause. Not trying control my body —
but to listen to it without distraction.

Word of the day: COHERENCE

Meaning: A state where your heart, mind, and nervous system are working in harmony.

Why it matters:
When you enter coherence, stress chemistry decreases, intuition sharpens, and your whole body moves toward healing. HeartMath teaches us that coherence isn’t something you “think” your way into — it’s something you breathe your way into.

Try this mini-practice:
Close your eyes. Inhale through the heart. Exhale through the heart.
Slow and steady.
Notice how quickly your system softens into clarity.

You might feel jumpy, cranky, tired, or like your mind won’t slow down. It’s your body saying it needs a break so it can feel calm and steady.

Press your feet into the ground and notice where you’re standing.
Feel the floor holding you up.
This helps your body feel steady again and brings your nervous system back toward calm.

When you start to spiral emotionally… what do you do?
Most of us don’t realize how quickly a single thought can shift the entire body.

What spiraling does to your system:
• Raises cortisol and adrenaline
• Tightens your muscles (jaw, belly, back, hips)
• Shortens your breath
• Makes clear thinking almost impossible

No wonder everything feels bigger than it is.

A simple reset when you feel yourself spinning:
1. Hand on your heart or belly
2. Inhale for 4, exhale for 6
3. Drop your shoulders
4. Take just one doable next step

The spiral isn’t who you are — just a signal that your body needs a moment of care
