We treat individuals with Schizophrenia, Schizo-Affective Disorder, Major Depression, Bi-polar Disorder, Anxiety, Psychosis, Delusional Disorders, as well as those with substance abuse problems.
Located in Chicago’s South Suburbs, Aperion Care Chicago Heights offers a safe, structured residential environment where our guests can comfortably build their self esteem and develop productive life skills. Guests and their families work to develop personal hygiene and medication routines, acquire job and money handling skills, and master public transportation.
Our multi-disciplinary team of caregivers works in conjunction with the supervising Psychiatrist and Attending Physician to create a personalized plan of care for each resident. This team of Board Certified Psychiatrists, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Nurses, CADC’s (Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs of Addiction Counselor), Behavior Aides, and Activity Professionals helps guests obtain the highest possible level of independence while working to minimize hospitalization readmissions.
