I was honored to take part in a video project led by Dr. Alicia Ross that speaks to something close to my heart — the power of representation in medicine. As a Black woman and physician, I’ve seen how much it means for patients to see themselves in those who care for them.

Representation extends beyond visibility — it fosters trust, supports healing, and demonstrates to the next generation that they, too, belong in these spaces. Being part of this reminded me that our presence is powerful. Our stories are powerful. And our voices deserve to be heard.

I’m deeply grateful for this experience and for every step that brought me to this moment. 🖤
