To educate, inspire and expose the importance of Mental Health within the African Diaspora and to engage the community towards self-actualization.

Our Mission at PuRe-Unity is to cultivate, inspire and teach young men and women the importance of self-actualization by utilizing mental health initiatives such as; training's, community enhancement projects, and personal development workshops that will unify families, increase integrity, and foster transformational living, all while imparting Kingdom principles. We must start by saying that God certainly has His way of orchestrating the plans and purpose of our lives. Our journey together has been far more than amazing, and we certainly give God all the glory for what He is doing and what He will continue to do. Our story begins several years back in the city of Los Angeles & San Diego California. As close relatives, our parents, who are both native Nigerians, believed that with proper education, comes greater opportunities for success. Therefore, they continued to motivate us to continue to achieve our academic goals, which eventually brought us to our journey together. This journey lead us to pursue our Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling together at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. During our studies, we experienced a transformative awareness of the most profound challenges and cultural disadvantages that are continuously infused within the African American community. Through our experience, we developed a new perspective and an understanding which has aided us in cultivating our passion to utilize Mental Health principals towards healing the mind, nourishing the body and rejuvenating the (spirit) soul of our young generation and those to follow. Our journey together has also propelled us to generate a drive for restoration and self-awareness within our communities. Overtime we have cultivated a vision with a purpose driven by Gods command to enrich the world with his mighty works. With God as our leading light, we’ve been able to develop several mental health initiatives in which will aid in executing our vision. One of these initiatives is our foundation PR-Unity LLC. PR-Unity LLC is the foundation that has been placed as the umbrella and underpinnings for future work within our mental health sphere. Through PR-Unity LLC, we were able to develop one of our primary programs "Project U-knight," which focuses on assisting youth offenders in overcoming barriers to self-actualization by providing them with tools towards restoration.

Meet our graduating Juniors (JSS3) and Seniors (SS3) A.N.G.E.L.S and there wonderful parents.

To our A.N.G.E.L.S, you did it!! You hung in there for a whole year. Attended meetings, events and completed your 25hr community service requirements. You all deserved to be honored and celebrated for dedication and commitment to the vision.

We urge you today, to take the “bull by the horn” in all that you do and to NEVER GIVER UP! Know that we believe you in you all and we want you to always remember that you are worth it, because you are WOMEN! No one, or nothing can stop you from reaching your ultimate goals because you were chosen and all are true Angels!! We love and appreciate you all!

On August 6th 2022, in Enugu Nigeria our amazing team and partner held Project A.N.G.E.L.S Cohort 2 scholarship award reception for our ANGELS and there family.

It’s truly an amazing feeling to witness the power of teamwork, partnerships and dedication to service and community. We are so grateful and extremely thankful to be able to provide for 11 young girls who exemplified the true meaning of a true ANGELS 😇.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to our incredible team in Enugu, Nigeria and Chimere for being the best coordinator and facilitators ever! Thanks to our wonderful partnership with for believing in our vision and for super natural alignment of our mission. We can not thank you all enough.

We have graduated our Cohort #2 ANGELS and looking forward to starting Cohort #3 very soon!!!

HEALING CIRCLE

Thoughts become words, words become actions and our actions become our truth & Reality.

The purpose of this module is to have participants experience how our unconsciousness can lead us to think, act and believe things that are said about us, to us, or from us which can eventually change the way we receive, perceive and then live our lives. Our unconscious thoughts become words, those words become action, and our action reveals the truth of our lives, whether negative or positive.

But the GOOD NEWS is, we have the POWER to CHANGE our unconscious thoughts. How you may ask? By Redirecting our thoughts through the power of INTENTIONALITY with our words.

Join the Nigerian American Professionals Association (NAPA) for a special Memorial Day weekend treat! May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we are looking forward to gathering safely in the great outdoors to come together in unity and action!

Take this opportunity, to exercise your mental and physical wellbeing at NAPA’s Wellness in the Park Summer kick off event and fundraiser.

The Yoga session led by Hot Power Fusion instructor Michele Okocha will begin at 10am and end at 11am.

Light breakfast break 11-12pm

Healing Circle will take place from 1pm to 2pm this session will work to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit! Come have fun, be healthy and connect!
