Owner and SLP has had the privilege of volunteering this season with Chicago Challengers Little League, an inclusive baseball league for kids who benefit from some support from “buddies” while playing. She was honored to throw out the first pitch last weekend as Cruella Daville.

Food exploration happens using all our senses, not just taste. This exploration is great for all kids, but especially for picky eaters! This client used different foods to get through a Halloween maze and create monster faces.

Let’s make a pizza! Ms. Julia and her client made a “pizza” together, targeting fine motor skills including cutting, glueing and pasting. This simulated food exploration activity is also great for sequencing and problem solving skills.

So incredibly proud of today’s speech graduate! He has worked so hard on his goals and we have had a lot of fun together along the way! For our last session he ordered our lemonades, used a credit card, and learned about tipping! Cheers buddy, the best is yet to come!
