Today on my afternoon walk with Oskee, I noticed the tulips are starting to bloom. Bright pops of color pushing up through the dirt, like little reminders that something beautiful is always happeningāif youāre paying attention.
And the truth is, if Iād been rushing, I wouldāve missed it.
I wouldnāt have seen the way the petals curl open, or how the sunlight hits just right.
It made me think about how often we speed through our days, our plans, our livesāthinking we need to be somewhere else, do something more, get there faster.
But what if right here is enough?
What if slowing down is the whole point?
Thereās so much beauty in the quiet, in the in-between moments, in just walking and noticing the tulips.
No rush. Just presence.
Iāve learned to live a life of slow, in a city that celebrates the hustle. And Iāve never been happier.
