Many of our more mature patients hesitate when it comes to lip filler. The fear of “duck lips” or an overly noticeable result often holds them back. But at the same time, what our patients often notice is that the first signs of aging actually tend to show around the lips, in the form of fine “smoker lines,” even for those who have never smoked.

Our approach here combined two treatments:
💉 a subtle lip flip with a Tox
💉a touch of filler for gentle volume and hydration

We can’t even put into words how delighted our patient was with the result because the goal of natural, soft lips was achieved without any heaviness or overfilled look.

What truly stands out is how the entire expression changes. Thin lips can sometimes give the face a harsher or more serious appearance, while restoring soft, fuller lips instantly brings back warmth and kindness to the overall look.

Progress doesn’t always look pretty but it always has a purpose!

This phase, where your skin looks speckled or freckled, is where true transformation begins✨

Those tiny dark dots that show up after laser? They’re called MENDs and they’re actually a sign that your skin is healing exactly as it should.

Short for Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris, MENDs form a few days after treatments like MOXI. They’re made of tiny clusters of dead skin cells that rise to the surface, making room for fresh, renewed skin beneath.

This temporary phase is often called the “peppering effect” , your skin looks like it’s been softly dusted with bronze.

This beauty in her early 40s received her very first facial filler treatment—and the results speak for themselves!

We used just one teaspoon of product (that’s 5 syringes) strategically placed across multiple areas:
✔️ Midface
✔️ Nasolabial folds
✔️ Marionette lines
✔️ Corners of the mouth
✔️ Lips
✔️ Chin

No filler was placed in the tear troughs. We’re saving that delicate area for her next treatment, which will be a regenerative boost using her own platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
As we age, changes occur at multiple layers of the facial anatomy. That’s why a multilayered approach is key to creating natural-looking results that age gracefully with you.
These photos were taken two weeks post-treatment, and while there’s still a little swelling in the lips (which can take up to three weeks to fully settle), she’s absolutely loving the results—and so are we.
